Question:

When you see earthquakes, storms, hurricanes etc... why don't you think it's because of God's anger?

Wouldn't it help explain why these tragedies happen?

Doesn't the fact they COULD be signs of God's anger show that it should be considered as a very real possibility, and therefore likelihood, that it is because of God's anger- because we're all sinners?

I know if I were caught in a natural disaster I'd wonder whether this was all a punishment from God for putting me in that situation.

  1. When God created each and every man and all the creatures in the world,he must be already knowing what each and every person or creature will be doing everyday and during their life time.He must be also knowing what is going to happen everyday on the earth. Then why should he get angry?

If at all he wants to punish anybody for his wrong doings,he should punish only him that too in some other way and not all the people by producing hurricanes, earthquakes etc.

In earthquakes, majority of the people killed are poor people whose houses are small huts and small buildings which cannot withstand earthquakes. In hurricane,it is the poor fishermen and other poor people who live near the shore with small buildings and who cannot leave to  safer places leaving their belongings  are affected or killed. Will a real God will show this partiality? If the God is angry at the entire humanity and creatures, he can make another planet to crash over the earth and the matter will be over within a short time. Why should he use the natural disasters to punish some people and show partiality?

  2. Because there's not correlation. Is God partiality angry at California and people in the Bible's belt's tornado alley? Why does it pick on both good and bad people in certain ares but leave both good and bad people alone in certain other areas? I can't believe God has that bad an aim.

  3. And the wind changes following  it's path.   God created the earth and allows the changes to come as they come.   When cold hits hot   big changes accur     God allows and then we learn to live with it and help one another to get threw the disasters .  He looks down and smiles and says this is good.

  4. uhhh What??? god isnt angry earthquakes hap[en becasue earths plates are moving and the rest jsut happen

  5. Thank God for Darwinism and Einstein and all those great scientists who have awakened the world from mythology fairy tails like when the mountains were created by a monster dragon crocodile gone mad amongst the dust of time and brought reality into life itself.

  6. Usually I take it as a reminder from God that He is there and that He is sooo powerful and we are sooo weak . The good thing about it is that it reminds me of God in a very intense way that I feel how very weak I am.

Some people change and wake up after natural disasters , this is the time when many people remember God and pray to Him .

I believe it could be sometimes a punishment from God to some people and a test from Him to others or a real mercy from Him for them because He wants them back to Him or it just happen as a part of our destiny to be subjected to many ordeals .

I believe too that nothing comes from God with no meaning and with no purpose , I believe that everything is happening for a reason , whether this reason is His anger or not we wouldn't  know .

Many believers die in natural disasters so it's not particularly a sign that God is angry .
