When you see someone who is barefoot in public,What do you think?

I think it depends on the situation and it the location and what the rest of the person looks like and how they carry themself.  I mean if they are in a bathing suit then I wouldn't think anything about it.  If they were in a business suit, then I would have to wonder what the story behind it was.  If they were in rags and dirty and begging for money and barefoot, I would think they are poor and homeless. Also if someone is like 7 and barefoot, no big deal again, but if they are like 40 and barefoot that is different. I try not to make judgments about people just based on one thing.

Well it depends on the look of the person...if it's a girl who is wearing a gown or a party dress maybe she is just tired of wearing a high heels or maybe she got wounds from the sandals she had worn. If it's a guy maybe  he likes just being comfortable and feel the nature of bare footing or maybe he is not fortunate to have a shoes or sandals to wear. Just a thought :)

When it's obvious they're doing it as a preference (and they're not holding their high-heels), I'm impressed. It can be very painful and it attracts lots of hateful comments.

I think its okay. We still did to repect them. Take a look at Thailand all the monks there,they did to walk with barefoot even the road is hot. Its take alot of courage to walk with barefoot. Did you walk with barefoot outside before ? The answer is yes. You walk with barefoot outside when you are young. Everyone have walk with barefoot when they are a boy or girl.
