No, sometimes I wish we could get time off. If your period is bad enough that you feel you can't go to school you may want to think about seeing your doctor. I know my best friend was like that she would roll up into a ball for 4 days because her period was just that bad. Even know she is not sexually active after a visit to the GYN they came of with a very low dose birth control and some piggy back pill (that she had to take for while.) To help control her period and the pain related to it. She has been on the pill for 4yr now and has had no issues.

nooooo, i wish, but no! For every girl to miss school for their period there would be practially no one at school, besides guys...so you just have to deal with it, we all do, so you can too

ummmmm its not like the school is like oh yeah you have your period you can stay home. it doesnt work that way. its not like your period is keeping you from doing anything unless you have insane cramps that leave you crippled like i used to have. stick a tampon in or put a pad on. and change it when you get the chance. its not that hard.

there's what 100's of girls in your school who ALL have their periods at some point during the month every month. do you think the school is gunna let like 100 girls stay home for a week just cuz they have their period?

Not necessarily, but i remember when i first started my period i missed a few days of school. I became very sick, i couldn't eat, and if i did i threw it up. I had really bad cramps and back pain. All girls are different though....so it all depends, if your in too much pain to even concentrate in class then its best to just stay home a relax for a little.

Nope.  Now some people get terrible cramping and they might stay home sick, but normally no.

unless you just don't go to school while you have it.

but they don't say hey since you have your period we'll give you the week off.

it doesn't work that wy.

if you didn't go to school when you have your period you'd be missing alot of days of school in a year.

since your period is like 7 days long but subtract 2 days cuz it will be the weekend and comes once a month..

so from september to june you would miss 60 days!

so yeah i think you'd fail if you took that many days off. '

Not normally.  It's something that will happen to you every month until you're about 50 years old, so you'd better start learning how to deal with it and get on with life now!  :)

no. but one time i had really bad cramps while i was in school. it was so bad i needed help to get up and walk to my next class. but some teachers dont care. so u just have to suck it up.
