  1. I had NASTY side effects with Ortho Tri Cyclin. I switched to Yasmin and they went away. There are so many - if you are having bad side effects you can switch - you shouldn't put up with it.

  2. I never had side effects when I was on birth control.

  3. Some people react certain ways to certain birth control medications.

I happen to not tolerate them well at all.  I went through about four different kinds before finding one that didn't bother me.

Rather than suffer if it's been two weeks or so, I would call the doctor to ask for a replacement brand.

When I found my "right" one, I had a slight stomach ache for about a day and felt a little moody for two weeks, but that was it.  On others, I had diarrhea, headaches, reactions to light, and started down the road to depression (so much so that my mother found my birth control bills, took them away from me, flushed the pills, and told me that if I didn't make a doctor's appointment for a replacement brand, she would take me to her doctor.  I was 25 years old at the time.).

  4. i was taking yaz, it is supposed to be the best for not having many side effects. the only one that i had was nausea and that went away when i started taking it b4 bed.
