When you stir a drink with a spoon, do you hold it with the dome of the spoon towards you, or away?

I stir clockwise with the spoon facing the same way all the time.. I think towards me..

I can't say I have noticed - doesn't make a difference as long as you put the bowl of the spoon in the drink and not the handle LOL

I hold it with the concave side towards me.

Actually I drink soup from a dinner fork but sometimes I drink soup from a soup plate.  When I stir the tea in a teacup I use the handle.

theres no straight answer to this one i stir my drinks anti clockwise with the back of the spoon leading this creates less drag and for me stirring the other way just doesnt feel right hope that helps

Dome towards me, stirring in a clockwise motion.  It seems to do the trick!

I hold it sideways, so the dome faces to my left. It doesn't change the efficiency anyway, because if you sootd in a different positio and did the same it would still stir the same wouldn't it, but the dome would be facing another way. i.e. if you stood with the handle of the cup facing you and if you stood with the cups handle facing away from you, you would be stirring the same....
