I am deeply disturbed by this cuz i found s***n in the pool. Now where that leads your thoughts to is up to you =)

My question is there, as i breathe in (especially if hard enough then droplets of water will hit my throat right away), at least some water will enter and be felt under the tongue. This way am i doing it right or is there some way to prevent it totally

  1. I would say it's almost impossible to put your head underwater in a pool and NOT get water in your mouth. But people swim in pools all the time and don't get sick from doing it. That's why special precautions are taken with disinfecting chemicals such as chlorine and bromine.

  2. i get water in my mouth all the time, i swim competetively. but  if there is s***n, uh, get out, seriously. u don't want some disease. get back in once ppl have cleaned it. the chlorine kills stuff tho.

  3. Maybe just get out of the pool and don't get back in until you know it's been cleaned.

  4. 1. that's just gross. it really is. but i think if your in the water you can just assume that some is going to get into your mouth. and ears. i think you are doing it right though. i usually dont get a mouthful of water but just splashes.

  5. 1) How did you find s***n? s***n is microscopic. Plus, s***n is quite unable to withstand the chemicals in chlorine. If most of it can barely make it through the female reproductive system, there's no way it can last through the chemicals in chlorine.

And there's not really a way to keep water from getting in your mouth. It just happens.
