When you take control of an opponent's monster, what happens to that monster's equip card?

The equip card stays modifying the card it was originally attached to. I used to be a judge, I know

It will stay on their side of the field and when the monster is removed from the field then the equiped card will go to the graveyard unless other cards say otherwise like Macro Cosmos or etc.

the equip card remains equipped. if an equipped monster is removed from the field or flipped face-down, then the equip card is destroyed

It stays equipped to it.its only sent to the graveyard if the monster is destroyed.
