When you terminate a cell phone contract, do you pay for each line or just for the contract as a whole?

I know verizon wireless has pro rated termination fees but how much do they reduce a month? Do they reduce 1/24th a month or 5$?

Its $10 per month.  When you cancel, it charges the early termination fee for each line that you cancel that is in contract.
