  3. Do not name your child anything that can be made fun of.  Leighton is just asking for it.  lay me

Do not name your child anything that you can not get on one of those little bike license plates.

Do not think that spelling a name different is cute.  It is very hard on children.

I know a woman who just named her new baby LINA.  she wants it prounounced leena.  well then you should have spelled it the way you wanted it said.

Kids want things with their name on it. pencils etc.  don't s***w up your kid.

Patricia is great until it becomes fat pat.

  4. I love all of them except I depise the name Vanessa. Leighton reminds me of a high class kinda girl. Has her head on right and knows what she wants. Talented, smart and pretty. Vanessa, from personaly experience, reminds me of a trashy girl. Monica, smart, beautiful, outgoing and very fun. Traditional kinda girl with an exotic twist. Adrienne, a simple and sweet girl.

  5. Leighton - never heard

    Vanessa - intellectual, perfectionist.

    Monica - serious looking

    Adrienne - fun-loving

  6. Leighton- dainty, delicate little girl, with flowing blonde curls

Vanessa- outgoing, Mexican, olive skin color, dark brown hair kind of wavy/curly

Monica- Mexican, pretty, tan colored skin, straight brown hair, and big brown eyes

Adrienne- athletic, tan, dark brown hair

  7. leighton- very quiet and reserved, shy

vanessa- cute, preppy like, always smiley

monica- popular but the S****y type

adrienne- sounds like a boy name.

  8. i think leighton is kinda cute

Vanessa i picture a pretty dark haired baby, easy going!

Monica i see a trouble maker, not too bad of trouble just one to get stuff stirred up

And Adrienne i think of Rambo lol

I think my favorite name from this is.......

    Vanessa Leighton

  9. Leighton: Cute girl, maybe in glasses, a little bookworm?

    Vanessa: beautiful but somewhat arrogant

Monica: I can't picture a beautiful person but then again I don't like this name (experiences) so my answer would be biased.

Adrienne: beautiful, intelligent and well rounded individual.

All the best and good luck :)

  10. Leighton - home town girl, from a small town.  Most likely from the south

Vanessa - hmm either pretty or rude

Monica - all I keep thinking about is the character from Friends...lol.

Adrienne - a free spirit, kind of just goes with the flow

  11. Leighton -- trendy parents, cute

Vanessa -- crazy, psycho chick (I know a girl w/that name)

    Monica -- responsible, mature, beautiful

    Adrienne -- elegant & pretty

  12. Leighton - Council estate scruffy looking child with fifteen year old parents

Vanessa - Talented and Wealthy, beautiful

Monica - Punk rocker, dark hair and a nose piercing

    Adrienne - Indian

  13. Leighton makes me think of a hardy soul who can overcome great hardships in life (if only because it reminds me of Deborah Layton, who survived the Jonestown massacre). Vanessa, to me, sounds like a name for a voluptuous, dark-haired siren.

Monica puts me in mind of an plain-looking but nurturing individual (as it makes me think of St. Monica, the patroness of wives and mothers). And Adrienne, to me, sounds like a feminist with a unique perspective on the world who's not afraid to "call 'em like she sees 'em" (as the name makes me think of Adrienne Rich, who wrote a lot of poetry concerning women's issues -- some of which is abstract, much of which is very hard-hitting).
