Question:

When you think of anthropology, what (non-human!) image comes to mind?

I know, this is weird. But what image(s) do you associate with anthropology, besides the obvious human being-shape? It's fine if it's abstract, just please explain! Thanks!

  3. My ex-wife.  How could something that I thought was human be so evil and cruel.  It was like that Star Trek episode where the monster sucked the salt out of people and it made itself look like a normal human.

    I am still having a hard time convincing myself that she is really a human being, or that I am.  How could I have come from a species that spawned that?

    Do you know how to get a hold of Beowulf?  If she only looked like Angelina Jolene.  Rat farts.

    Of course various civilizations have their own representations, such as: jaguar, totem pole, hieroglyphics, rosetta stone,pottery, ancient tombs, burial mounds, artifacts, temples, cave paintings, Stonehenge, etc.
