When you track a package with UPS, what does it mean when in the description it says "Destination Scan"?

is it going to be deliverd to me? am i going to have to pick it up?

  1. It means its in your city, soon it should say out for Delivery. You never have to go to ups and pick it up yourself unless you ask but then they would still send it to your local post office


  2. It means it's reached it's destination sorting facility.  The next tracking update will say "OUT FOR DELIVERY" which means it's been picked up by your local driver and about to be delivered to you.

  3. That is the last place it gets scanned before it's put on the truck to come to you.  At each point in it's trip it was scanned to keep track of it.
