When you trade a pokemon does it go back to its base happiness?

Will a pokemons happiness go back to its base happiness when traded? But, if you trade the pokemon back will it go to its happiness that it originally had before it was traded?

Sadly no. I tried this with a lopunnyy of mine because i wanted it to evolve on my pearl version ( i bought 30 different of the things like protien and carbos) and then i traded it to my pearl and tried evolving and it went back to zero. then i tried trading it back and it was still at zero. So it doesn't go back to max happieness.

yes it goes to its base happiness
