  1. Yes they (border patrol) do stop the bus to do checks...they ask if everyone on board is a US citizen and they walk the dog around the bus to sniff all compartments. They sometimes ask for ID if the roster list shows resident aliens or the number of people on the bus differs from the roster

  2. It will depend on the type of checkpoint.  If it's a sobriety checkpoint, it's not likely the bus will be stopped.  Most commercial drivers have too much at stake to get caught DUI.  If it's a security checkpoint, it's entirely possible the bus will be pulled aside to be thoroughly checked.

As for drugs, unless you're exceptionally good at hiding them, the dogs will be going nuts before the bus has even rolled to a stop, they're that good...

  3. Yes, they do in most cases. That being said, there are many better and cheaper bus services the now provide service along many of Greyhound's routes. In the midwest and west coast check out www.megabus.com   Also Amtrak rail serivce is very pleasant to use if a line exists in your area. Good luck and seriously, try to avoid Greyhound as there service has become the pits!

  4. they would just walk drug sniffing dog around bus

  5. They check them!

  6. IT DEPENDS WERE YOU GOIN LIKE IF ITS OUT OF THE STATE OR COUNTRY THEN YOU DO PIT STOPS AND BREAKS BUT IF YOUR TRYING TO GET DRUGS OVER THE BORDER THEN TRUST ME YOU DONT ITS OBVIOUS I WOULD RATHER USE A REGULAR CAR LIKE A HONDA ODDYSEY WITH THE SECRET COMPARTMENTS DUDE SORRY THATS JUST WHAT I THOUGHT YOU WERE TRYING TO DO SO YEAH LATERZ
