  1. Someone meets a person you feel can't be trusted (not a true friend) and they like this person.  All you can do is tell them your experience in a very brief statement and then drop it.  "She was supposed to go in with me to buy a gift and backed out after her name was on the card."  The two of them may get along fine and never have a problem.  Just don't see them when they are together.

There is no way to cover your tracks.  If you need to do something that is mean, it will come back to haunt you.  What goes around, comes around.

If you want to report some terrible thing like child abuse that you are pretty sure of but don't want the person to know, there are ways to do that sort of report to keep yourself anonymous.  Same for reporting criminal activity.

You can go to a free email site, make up a name, and use it so no one knows it is you except for the police or a governmental agency which need a warrant.

However, if you are going to try to get back at someone for something they did to you, just forget it.  Nothing hurts you more than harboring hatred.  Sometimes you just have to go with the flow.  They'll get theirs - you may not know about it, but it will happen to them.

  2. Your question is vague and a little shady.  If you think a true friend might get hurt by the actions of another "false" friend, it is best for you to tell your true friend how you feel.  The only other option is for your friend(s) to find out on their own.  Karma usually takes care of things.

Why do you care about covering your tracks?  You need to be more specific, please.

  3. You don't do that.  People will figure it out soon enough...if you do this, it only makes you look bad...jealous, scared, intimidated, etc.  It's always best to let people figure it out for themselves unless there is a threat of physical harm.  If you focus on you instead of others you will be happier.

  4. Well, it isn't a very good idea to do that.

It will get traced back to you, it always does.

And in the end the persons that have only met them a few times will look at you as a lying attention hog.

So it is just best to keep your mouth shut and be as nice as possible, it is hard sometimes, but you can do it!!!!
