When you use Proactive, and stop, doesn't it make your skin twice as bad as it was before?

One of my friends uses Proactive and she said that she quit using it for a week or two and her skin was broken out, red, and really gross-looking. Is that true?

  1. They say that ur skin may get worse at the beginning of the process because pimples take 10 or so days to form and apparently the new blemishes and pimples were already formed. They advise ppl to keep using the product for results.

  2. Yes, I've heard the same thing, but for an all natural skin care try Plush Pillow Cases. They clean your skin while your sleeping. By naturally absorbing the oils and toxin in your skin. Try this; put a drop of olive oil on your arm, then take a linen pillow case and try and clean it. It doesn't work, it rubbes the oil in to your skin and clogges the pours in the skin. Now, try it with a towel. See how it absorbes the oil. Humm. Could this be what happening with my face at night. Think about it? You don't go to bed with a zit, you wake up with them. AHHHH!!!!

  3. It ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS depends on the person!!!!

You can't take a situation and say it's the same for everyone.

My friend used it and immediately looked as if she stuck her face in boiling water. Is this typical of everyone? NO.

I used Proactiv for a while, stopped, and didn't get any strange reaction.

Some people will get that, some people won't.

  4. I'm sorry to tell you that Dermatologist say that Pro-Active is horrible stuff. Pro-Active tends to blister the skin and one product can not be the best answer in the world for everyone that has acne. Everyone has a little different situation.

If you want to invest in some good skin care products, try the Clean and Clear line for acne and Neutrogena carries a line of good skin care products according to what type of skin you have. Neutrogena products

are hypoallergenic and they usually work much better on your skin than Pro-Active. You will need a good cleanser for your type of skin, a toner, a mask to use once a week, and if you are female, I would also

suggest a non-oily moisturizer to use on your face, especially under makeup. Dermatologists have told me for years that Neutrogena's products are a very good line for teenage skin and adult skin because of the variety of products they carry, depending on an individual's skin type. And this won't break you out if you have sensitive skin.

Best of luck to you!  I hope that I have been of some help to you!   ☺

  5. yes its true..

it does that because it makes your skin addicted to proactive

like yu being adicted to drugs
