I just bought something using paypal instead of google checkout, will it cost anything?

  1. No, paypal is free for buyers.  However if you are selling something and the buyer pays with a credit card, you get docked the percentage fee from your profits that paypal pays the credit card company or bank.  Sometimes I have seen sellers that require you to add 3% to your winning bid if you are using paypal with a credit card, but I dont think they are supposed to be doing that.  


  2. no charge if you buy.

    pay a fee only if you RECEIVE money.
