The World,s Trade Centre, did the location look smaller then you envisaged and did you find yourself still wondering how such devastation could happen right there.

  1. what a tradgedy... :(

  2. I expected the site to be larger, but, as for the devastation, we have to remember that, not only was it the destruction of the physical plant, ie the buildings, but those who were inside, who died from the cowardly terrorist attacks.as well as the ones on the airplanes..

Not only that, the effect it has had on those left behind, not only the families of the deceased, as their friends, who knew of them and no longer have them.  And, of course, the entire country was involved because it traumatized the rest of the country.

  3. I haven't been able to visit yet. I imagine the site is rather small considering the devastation and deaths that occurred. I try to not visit monuments as I have a hard time emotionally. The anger I feel and felt when I visited the replica of the Viet-Nam war memorial when it came to my city was not good at all. I fear that feeling the extreme anger may put me in a VA facility.
