  1. You need to put your personal and account information on the deposit slip if it is not a pre-printed deposit slip.

You need to write down how much cash and coins your are depositing.  You also need to write down the amount of each check that you are depositing.  If you have too many checks, there should be room on the back of the deposit slip.

Total everything and give it to the teller.

  2. I echo the above two people with this additional statement, these deposit slips are not hard to learn.  You should go to see a personal banker at your bank and ask for their advice on how their bank likes these forms filled out.

A good way to do this would be to say you are not only a new customer to the banking world, but also you have heard too much about fraud committed and would like to know the banks advice as the best way to fill this slip out and other forms to avoid a chance of fraud being committed against you.

    Hope I helped.  Good day

  3. Deposit tickets vary somewhat between banks. It might be best to take the desposit slip and the check to your bank and ask for help.
