  1. ur toes should be touching the front. u need to make sure u can wiggle your toes. but an inch room is big.. so try a smaller size!

  2. I ice skate. And I would suggest not having all that room at the top because if they are too loose then you could fall. I would say get the seven as long as its not painful.

    good luck:]

  3. well the sizes are different according to what brand your skates are.  there should only be about a half centimeter-centimeter (1/4 inch-1/2 inch) amount of space.  too much space and your feet would have too much room to move around, which can result in injury, bad skating, and foot problems. you don't want that.  yes you should try a 7, but the skate might be too narrow.  experiment until you find the right size.

  4. Skates vary greatly from manufacturer...I wear Riedell's - I just bought new boots yesterday...I wear a street shoe size 9 and my Riedell's are a 7.5...

If your skates fit properly...you heel should fit snugly, and the tip of your big toe should just touch the toe of the boot slightly...

a half inch to an inch is DEFINITELY way too big...my guess is that you may need a 6.5...

if your skates don't fit properly it will definitely hinder your progress, so please take the time to get fitted properly...

    Happy Skating!!!

  5. In my skates I have size five. But in shoes I wear sevens.

Whenever I get new skates I trace my foot and send it in to rainbosports.com. There is most likely information about sizing skates on their website. But if you send in your foot print they will tell you what size you need.

Here are some fitting guidlines. I don't know if it will help much.

And here are foot tracing instructions.

    Well Good Luck.

  6. If you are buying higher end skates you really need to be professionally fitted. If you are buying them from a sporting store (i.e. d**k's, Sports Authority...) then try on several different pairs. You should have some room in the front of your skate, but so much that your foot moves around. An inch to an inch and a half is way too much, you could injure yourself with that much room.

Usually, your skates will be a smaller size that your foot. Mine were a 6.5 and my foot is between a 7.5 and an 8 (US). It all depends on the style of the boot. Also, make sure that you are try your skates on with that you are going be skating in. I always skated in nylons/knee-highs but if you are someone that skates in socks make sure that you take that into consideration.

  7. i cant exactly tell you what skate to wear.

but if they are too big your feet will cramp really badly and it will be tough to skate

  8. Your toes shouldn't be uncomfortably pressed up against the end of the toe, but the skates should fit snugly. You should try a 7 or maybe a 7.5, possibly even smaller due to the fact that every brand of skates varies a little bit. If you are planning on buying your own skates make sure that you have them fitted by your local pro shop so you get the right size.
