  4. Always wanted to be a Soldier.

    Served in The Royal Engineers for 16 years it was everything I wanted it to be, I left to take a job doing the same trade in the private sector for three times the money, never looked back.

  6. A Vet. I got pushed into Law as my parents were both in that profession but at the age of 26 i decided to step out of their shadow and i started training in Veterinary Medicine. I'm now in my 5th year.

    instead i got an electrical engineering degree. and work for a large company in product development

    think I should of been a garbage man, would of been less stress

  9. A marine biologist. No lie. I used to love those "under the sea" nature programs on PBS.

    Then I saw Jaws and became afraid of the ocean.(thanks Peter Benchley).

    I always said I wanted to live alone,never marry,and never have kids.

    I married a military guy,had a son, and got divorced.Only part I am happy with there is my son, who does make me very happy.More so than anything else in this world.

    I'm taking up graphic design, and art in general does make me happy.

    Everyone is different.They may grow up and be happy in what they decided on when they were children, or be like me and completely veer off course,end of completely happy or miserable.Either way, life is choices and happiness is a state of mind.

    I wanted to be an attorney, I ended up being a welder.

    What made the difference is how much money and encouragement my family offered. I was too young to understand that where we end up for the most part depends on where we started.

    And yes, I am happy with it.

  13. I wanted to be a soldier, then last year, I got to do just that. Now I can't because I busted my knee on a training exercise

    I just might stick with surgeon :)

    but i had to have un aided 20-20 vision to join lfb

    now work as a supervisor for a grounds maintenance company

    and i got to say its alright actually
