When you were young, were you ever hit by a car?

If so, did stupid motherf---ers at school make fun of you sice it happened? They constantly laughed and said that was the most funniest things they've ever seen? How did you over come this?

I did 3 times knocked over and once i was ran over(under the wheels) and no one at school took this p*** thats just sick dude!!

i was hit while riding my bike a meter off the road. the old bloke didnt even stop. when he was stopped he swore he hit nothing. put me in hospital for a week and destroyed my bike.

some idiots made fun of me but most were cool about it and wanted to know about it.met lots of girls from it.

When I was 5 years old my mother was teaching me to ride a tricycle for the first time. There is a massive hill in my neighborhood, now in which my friends and I love to ride our bikes down. Now when you are going down this hill it is impossible to see a car coming around the corner. I was rolling down the hill on the sidewalk and my  mom accidentally let go. I hit a huge bump on the end of the sidewalk and I fell right in front of a truck. The truck thankfully slammed on its brakes, but I was so close I could touch the tires. That day has made me more careful. I could have died at age 5.

ive nearly been hit by a car a few times. one time when i was going through my stage of wearing baggy skater trousers i was crossing the road and my foot got caught in one of the holes in my trousers so i tripped in the middle of the road and there was a car coming so i sort of rolled out the way to the gutter and then got up. From the side I had just come from there were 2 S****y lil tarts aged about 14 or 15 at that time and as it happened they didnt ask if i was okay they just stood there and laughed at me and took the p**s saying 'oh have you had to much to drink?' and carried on laughing. I was so humiliated and hurt, i sprained both my foot from tripping and my wrist from falling on it. Okay im glad i wasnt hit by the car but if i saw someone do that i would go over and make sure they ok. Stupid girls.

Not at school, though two of my school friends were. Both died. Noone laughed. If they had there would have been a severe kicking/lynching incident.

I did get knocked off my motorbike though, when much older. Some pensioner drove straight at me. Even though i had been parked eight feet right in front of him for about a minute waiting for a gap in traffic to turn into the road that he was turning out of. Even though i had my headlight on, indicator flashing, AND wearing a bright yellow three day old hi-visibility coat, he still managed not to see me! It bloody well hurt too!!!

I almost got hit at the age of 4 if it weren't for my pup. She saved my life - she bit the edge of my slipper caused me to fall down on my stomach then she got smashed under the wheels of a military truck. The incident shocked almost the whole neighborhood as I cried over my pup and my wounds on my elbows and knees.

I didn't overcome it. I died at the age of 14, twenty years ago. Thanks for bringing back painful memories.
