  1. it does not get any easier than this you have a battery under the hood for starting your car. if you add a battery/ies you will need a non spill battery like a opima or kinetik ,deep cycle,and so on you will run a 0 gauge wire from the main battery to a isolator like a 200amp PAC,like a big relay, then from the isolator to the 2nd battery. making sure you fuse these wires at the 2nd battery you will ground it to the frame of the car not the trunk or rear deck lid. now at the isolator you will need to put a ground on that as well and a ignition  turn on from the ignition swich and fuse that as well. that will make sure that the isolator will turn on to charge the 2nd battery when driving or starting your car. back to the 2nd battery run that to the fuse ditabution block and then a wire to your amp.  ground you amp not to to the 2nd battery but to the same spot your battery is grounded to the frame it should cost starting about 400 dollars without labor if bought new i dont suggest buying a used battery or wires
