when your a nurse, if you have a patient that has wound? would you have to patch them up?

  1. nurses do not close wounds with stitches, staples, or glue...we do change the dressings on open and closed wounds...


  2. As the other poster indicated, yes we do perform wound care (although I do like your term of "patch them up.") We do a lot of patching-up. I spent a career as a Navy nurse, and trust me we did a h**l of a lot of patching up Marines and Sailors.

  3. NO YOU JUST STAND THERE AND WATCH THE BLOOD FLOW. PLEASE DO US ALL A FAVOR AND LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT PROFESSION.
