  1. Consult your Breeder Mentor and s/he will tell you. :)

Dogs tend to "nest" when they are about to give birth. They will hide in the corner to go to the whelping box you've prepared for them. She will go to a darker, more secluded area of the house. The puppies should be birthed normally.

I really hope they are show-quality dogs, and not just a chihuahua you bred because you think she's cute.

  2. No they don't if you have one that is have birthing problems get her to a vet asap. Chihuahua's can have sever problems giving birth and it can kill her and her babies.

  3. Yea they slowed down, just think she is really small and room for the pups to move is getting smaller everyday.  When they start Labor, they're belly's actually tighten up.  Good luck !!

  4. I don't think so. You would think the opposite because when she is getting close to having them they should be moving into the birth canal and that would require movement but know if you would be able to feel it though. don't

  5. Again, it's Chihuahua.  This is your 4th question on basic pregnancy care.

If the pups have stopped moving, you need to call a vet.

As I told you before, chihuahuas can have a difficult time whelping and sometimes need a c-section.  You are a child and cannot be expected to recognize a dog in distress.

Please, call an adult to help you get this girl to the vet so that she can be given the proper care.

Then, call Chihuahua rescue to come get the poor dog and her pups.
