    The real life answer is that it could be any kind of colic - twisted gut, spasmodic colic, or impacted colic.

    I've heard that on Howrse the answer is impacted colic, but I don't play so I don't know.


  2. These are signs of colic and you MUST call the vet immediately.  Colic is the #1 killer of horses.  Some times it is relatively easily treated, other times it requires surgery.  

    As a multiple horse owner, we keep banamine paste and injectable on hand at all times. You can get it from your vet.  It is the first line of defense when colic strikes.

    If your horse is displaying these symptoms, call your vet, please!!
