  1. then your grade will go Lowwwww.... Good Luck!! =D

  2. then you get looked down upon by your AP teacher.

    especially your ENGLiSH AP TEACHER!!!

    omg.

spark note spark note spark notes!!!!!!

you'll most likly have a disscussion about the book in class or you'll do an essay.

    its a AP class.

  3. It depends on your teacher. You may lose significant points but more importantly, the books are generally chosen and will be discussed throughout the year so you will miss out on the discussions. While I dont know what books you are reading, I'm sure your teacher chose them for a reason and has an assignment and discussion planned for them. If you aren't willing to do the extra work for the summer reading, you may want to reconsider taking AP. It is a tough curriculum and if you don't want to do the extra work, then AP isn't for you.

  4. Honestly, as a teacher of both honors and AP classes, I can tell you that by not reading the summer reading, you are setting yourself up for failure...

Your teacher is going to expect to jump into the material on the first week of class.

If I were you (and if you really are an AP level student) I would be readingreadingreading!

    Good Luck!

  5. seriously - read it.  even if you think you can get away with reading sparknotes, don't - the teacher can tell, and your essays will end up sounding like those of all the other kids in the class who read sparknotes - not exactly the way to make a good impression.

and, if you're taking AP english, i suggest you learn the difference between "your" and "you're"

  6. youll start out the year with a terrible grade, your teacher will have a terrible impression of your work ethic, and you will just overall regret it.

    read the books.
