  1. I got my two kids in my divorce ,, i remember my daughter when she started head start which was only 4 hr,s i waited outside in the vehicle, after getting her settled in class, but trust me within 5 days they will run to there seats and they will be happy to be there and you will adapt and have time to shop,, but yes the first week is kinda tough but remember you gotta be strong so no guilt it could impack them for life .  lp

  2. Take lots and LOTS of pictures of him in his school uniform, talk to him about all the friends he's going to make and how great school is going to be.  Maybe you'll be able to convince yourself too! LOL

It's such a mixed emotion when they start school - you're excited, but sad and yeah... difficult!!!

When you see his excited little face when you pick him up after his first day of school, it will all be worth it!

  3. I had more trouble with preschool than Kindergarten, but if your child didn't do the preschool thing, then I know how you feel.  Why are you sad?  This is the best times (sort of) for your child.  Hard for parents too - lots of homework to do with them!  My daughter had a really hard time with Kindergarten, because her teacher wasn't all warm and fuzzy like preschool, so my daughter cried everytime for about 5 months.  I hope your child has a nice teacher - it really makes a huge difference.

  4. I feel your anxiety!!! When my son started, I came home and waxed all the floors to make the time go by!!!! It goes away..

  5. Remember It's all for the good of your child.

Smile, and try not to be nervous, or they

    might pick up on it.

Time can seem to go by so quickly.

Don't forget to have your camera ready. ;-)

  6. you need to just try to be happy so you dont upset him or make him nervous or scared. its part of the growing process the first few days may be hard but after a week or so youll probally enjoy the free time and youll find it very useful.

its just one of the many changes youll go through in his life.

good luck just remember to keeep a smile on your face and think positively
