I think the Chinese police can do whatever it takes to keep people from kicking off.... maybe our police officers should be so smiley and we wouldn't have so much street crime.

"Is this your motorised vichelle"  I tell you the Nigerian police always are smiling are shouting or taking bribes. In fact they smile an awful lot when they rob you.

No they are there to instill a sense of authority and fear to deter criminal behaviour, if our coppers where as stern looking and had the power as the do we would not have the problems we have now.

But to answer your question i just smile which is not often as i hate my picture being taken.

No smiley police thanks  I think they need to keep it official and smiling infers friendship. As for having pictures taken I try to avoid it as much as possible i think once you pass 25 soft focus should be compulsory

as a police officer, there is no harm smiling at the camera. We're human and have a sense of humor, too
