  1. As the tires wear down, the microscopic rubber particles are absorbed into the atmosphere for us to breath.

  2. Into the air and on the road.

Look at leaves in the fall. they land on the road, cars go by and the wind from the vehicle blows the leaves around. The leaves will tend to build up in the center and on the edge of the road . Eventually they will end up on the edge of the road where there is less wind from the traffic. The rubber will behave pretty much the same way.

  3. When one your vehicle,  the tires scrub off as dust,  and end up on  and along the road surface.

Once off your vehicle,   tires can be shreded and used in roads,  on playgrounds,  driveways,   etc.        Tire carcasses in good shape can be "retreaded",   new tread put on old tires.   These can be almost as good as new tires at a lower price,   and recycling materials to boot.   Great for low mileage vehicles and trailers.

  4. It goes to the same place sneaker rubber goes to.

No, really, nowadays it gets recycled or chipped up for other uses.

  5. Tire dust that doesn't make it into the air can be problematic as well.

Originally deposited on the pavement, it gets washed by rain into lakes and streams.

  6. the rubber fairy is following you sweeping up the waste rubber.  he makes condoms with it as you sleep.

  7. The rubber (of the tires) rubs off on the pavement when you drive your vehicle.

Scrap tires get recycled these days, well, most of them.  Some scrap tires just get discarded or dumped.

  8. On the road. It gets scratched off by the rocks on the road.

  9. It turns into rubber dust

  10. The road. Try braking hard at speed and you will see your tyre tracks leaving a rubber print on the road.
