When your water breaks does it ....?

When your water breaks just out of curiosity does is have a smell along with it? r even when your leaking does it have some type of order along with it?

it does not have a smell that I can remember (my baby is almost 3 now). and it depends on how low the baby's head is in your pelvis. My older son was really low...when my water broke I heard to pop and felt it run down my leg. I went to the bathroom and i could not pee (did not have to), so I knew it was my water breaking. My younger son was really high up in my pelvis. when my water broke I heard the pop again and EVERY step from the bedroom to the bathroom was a gush of fluid. I think I literally left wet spots on the carpet. it continued to flow heavily for several hours.

Mine broke and it didn't have any smell that I noticed and I leaked all the way to the hospital and my clothes were soaked.  It was clear and didn't have any odor.

I didn't smell anything and you shouldn't.  If it's not clear you should get to the hospital ASAP.  But only if you're sure it's your water breaking.

I didn't smell anything, but my boyfriend swears it had a smell to it!

No smell no oder nothing you will know! it wont stop!! and theirs lots of it!! mine poped as i was driving with my first child and i just drove to the hospital (i though i peed myself, lol)
