WhenI upload my pictures from my computer to another site they are black?

Well, I can only guess at this one.

1. The pic file size is too big or too small.

2. some part of the upload creates an unreadable pic file.

3. The file type you are uploading is in the wrong format.

Oh course I may be wrong because they are all guesses but for some reason I can't get a third pic to load on my 360 page.  When I try to upload it tells me all was successful but it never displays.  So . . . go figure.
