  1. im serious, try taking digestive enzymes from the health food shop, they wont hurt you anyway if they dont help. apparently some people are deficient in enzymes that break down different things, i used to feel really sick without these enzymes, worth a shot anyway, try holland and barrett or gnc. i think asians have a similar thing with alcohol, genetically they dont produce the right stuff to break some components down. dunno, worth a shot instead of writing off beer immediately as an allergy. =)

  2. It's a inheireted thing-- half of all Asians have it.  Google Alcohol Flush.

I get it once in a while and it can go down my neck as well.  I have no idea why it happens just sometimes.

  3. Alcohol dialates blood vessels.  It could be your blood vessels in your face are expanding, thus bringing more blood to your face.  Slow the consumption.

Or quit drinking a whole bottle in 20 seconds. ;-)

  4. There is a condition, which at one point was thought to be most common in people of Asian ancestry, called Alcohol Flush Syndrome.  People with that condition react differently to alcohol than others.  Something about the break-down of enzymes??

  5. well my mom has that problem and well.....it never goes away

  6. stop drinking beer

  7. Zantac or Pepcid AC.

It is called alcohol flush reaction.

  8. Stop drinking, duh.

  9. This happens to a friend of mine. She says that it's allergies.

So you are probably allergic to something that's in the beer.

  10. My friend also gets read when she drinks - anything - at all. You cannot prevent it, sorry. You must be allergic like she was.

  11. You're obviously having an allergic reaction to an ingredient (or two) in the beer you're drinking. Try drinking a craft beer, or make your own. If that doesn't stop it, then don't drink beer any more. Switch to something else.
