I have read up on this and people just say go in safe mode or use your windows disc but I am unable to go into safe mode because the error occurs there as well and I have misplaced my disc currently.

-I am using Windows XP Home Edition

-I have tried to go in safe mode (with and without networking on both admin. and my user).

-This occurs on every user on the computer and is not limited to just mine.

-Please respond here if you have a solution, If you have more questions please leave a way I can contact you or e-mail me at: "bigylittle6197@yahoo.com"

  1. userinit.exe is part of the windows bootup sequence. If your having issues with it best to replace it with the clean copy on the XP disk.

    Here is a guide

    http://www.f-prot.com/support/windows/fp...

print it out and follow it exactly.

  2. download/ install and run a free program called ccleaner. Then run the Cleaner and the Registry menus in it

  3. Are you running a virus/worm protection? If not, then try virus/worm scanner. If that doesn't work, back your stuff up and then format the disk and then reinstall Windows from scratch and then immediately start running virus/worm protection from then on!

Also an EDIT: Ummm, because you didn't say that you COULDN'T get into your OS the normal way to do normal computer stuff. You just said that you had the error, and then couldn't get into Safe Mode.

Also, you don't have to download virus/worm protection software. You can just buy it from a store locally.

So yes, based on what you're saying NOW, then you guessed it--reinstall from scratch. You'll have to put that hard disk in a computer with another one that has Windows already installed on it, then back up your stuff, and then format it, and then reinstall from scratch.

THERE'S YOUR OTHER IDEA FOR YA!
