I get lazy because I feel down.

For days i have been meaning to get motivated-clean my room-excersize but because I've been looking kinda un-pretty.

(my hair is unstraightened-I have no clean clothes-a have an acne breakout)

Because of that I can't even seem to get motivated to get prettied up!

I want to clean fist then wash because I'll get dirty and sweaty the other way around. BUT

Because i look so bad I don't feel like doing anything!

Please help me-motivate me!-be kind please...I can't help how I feel

  1. This is a very hard thing to face. I'm sure you are a very pretty girl, don't be so hard on yourself. Get cleaned up first, try to look as good as you can. Then do something you want to do, like something you enjoy doing. Then once you get your mind off that, get into the cleaning part, and stuff you need to do. Hope I helped some.

  2. You know, clean your room first before you take a shower and pretty yourself up.  Cause I know I always feel better after I've accomplished something that I've needed to do (especially cleaning) and because I feel better about myself I feel better about the way I look.  Once you feel better about the way you look you'll probably be motivated to exercise.

Sometimes you just have to push yourself to do things, even if you don't want to.  That's part of life.

    Good luck, honey.

  3. umm wash your clothes then clean your room.

afterwards take a bath try an acne cleanser and put on the clean clothes.  you will feel better.

  4. Oh, I totally understand.  When I am feeling bloated or fat, I tend to not want to shower because I don't even want to take my clothes off!  Or I don't want to go to the gym because I am afraid of what "other people will think of me"...even though I know that no one cares, and I know that a workout will make me feel better!

I agree that the solution in this case seems to be JUST DO IT.  To make it easier, you can try to accomplish things in small chunks.  Make very small goals for cleaning your room (like start with putting away one thing, or clean up one small area at a time).  Then do the same with getting yourself cleaned up.  You can also get motivated to get pretty by looking at some photos of yourself looking your best.  You can look like that again!

Oh, and last resort to get going with your work is to have some caffeine!  It's an instant pick-me-up that has a mild anti-depressant effect.  Try not to rely on it, but use it when needed.
