Whenever I open ne folder on my pc, it says some fatal error and firefox opens some antivirus site. help!?

It says there is a virus and ask me to download some antivirus/spyware yes or no. even i click no it starts some link on mozilla

I know it sounds simple but try a system restore to the last known good configuration. If it doesnt work then get:

1. Avast home edition 4.8

2. Zone alarm (You can use this to block the firefox from opening)

3. Ad-aware

these can be downloaded from:

www.download.com

I had the very same problem some time ago and I solved it by doing a system restore.

download a better antispyware or antivirus and update it with the latest updates..run a full system scan and restart your pc..

it'll be fine..

install kaspersky antivirus.its the best one available and removes all virus/spywares and all..no need to install other software for removing spywares and all..

if you want free software then install avira antivirus and spybot search and destroy along with it..

First of all which operating system do u have, i think your Anti-Virus software is expiry. pls check with the same.

You have a virus or spyware!  You'll have to buy some antivirus software to get rid of it.  If you are able to log on to the internet (which I'm guessing you are if you can post here), you can download a free antivirus software trial from Trendmicro.com.

OMG!

You that that very bad virus that isgoing around. Best bet is to google it for for information... this virus is very trivky and even made the news where i live.

Turn your computer off and contact GEEKS on Call of soe other comp-wizzes.

Discontect it from the internet, especially if you have high speed of "always on" internet.

ITS an spyware stud and you need the software that can heal up the pc iam trying avira from 2years and its free and popular too download it and update it before using

Goto download.com and in antivirus section see the avira link and just download it and keep ur mind tension free
