Whenever I open up microsoft word 2003 on my xp it doesn't respond.?

Question

I'm trying to open up microsoft word and every time it opens it just gives me the sand time mouse and I can't do anything on it. Then whenever I click X it says program isn't responding. End now? I click yes and nothing happens. WHen I press ctrl alt delete it says my administrator disabled my task manager which I never did. Please tell me how to fix all this.

reinstall it. and if it still does not work that means its corrupt or you got a virus.
