  1. LOL that he's saying "bless you"!  I had a cat that would make a slight meow if I coughed.  And if I was sick in bed and started coughing repeatedly he'd sit up and then swat me with a paw.  So I think it's more likely he's saying "Stop it!" - which is ironic because he's the reason you're sneezing!

Have you tried Allegra D or Zyrtec (now available without prescription) for your allergies?  I'm very allergic to cats but if I take my Allergra D daily I'm fine with them.  And I'm also fine volunteering at shelter adoption events and cat shows - where there's sometimes HUNDREDS of cats!

  2. cause u scare him when u scene or depending on how u snezz u might sound like your hissing at him

  3. Our female cat makes a high pitched mewl (similar to a kitten) when I sneeze, and if I pull a strip of sellotape off a roll she starts chattering the same as when she sees a bird outside.  I'm not sure why she does it, but cats have got much more sensitive hearing than us and can hear high pitched sounds that we can't.  Maybe the sound of sneezing reminds them of something else (possibly prey animals) and they react accordingly?

  4. My cat used to do this. It's probably because the noise is sudden, loud and may have high-pitched elements to it!

  5. he's saying bless you
