  1. GHDs are the best straighteners and try moose x

  2. A strong hairspray, once you straighten it.  Try a heat-resitant product to protect your hair.  You may consider getting your hair chemically straightened, if it really bothers you, but chemicals make the hair weak; you can get split ends and breakage very easily.  Try a straightening shampoo or something like that.  Best of luck to you.

  3. Use products to keep it well moisturized. I use Garnier's Sleek n Shine products.

As far as a straightener, make sure you get a ceramic one -- they're the best. Target has some for relatively cheap... I think mine's Revlon and only cost $20-30.

  4. Yah, the humidity will amke it puffy and stuff :p Try a mousse, hairspray, or defrizz product. A good straightener brand is Revlon. It works well and it's inexpensive. You can get it anywhere.

  5. Try this excellent website -

  8. Well, to be completley honest with you, if you are in florida and are straighting your hair and have naturally curly hair then that is not so easy!  as you know.

Anyway, Paul Mitchell creates a great line of hair products. I use them all, even though i don't straighten my hair it keeps the frizz out.

May i suggest that if you don't already blow-dry your hair right before you straighten it, and make sure to put the products in before you blwo dry it and that will help it to work .

First wash your hair with the shampoo and conditioner from the company, it is really expensive but if you go to walmart or know a hairdresser who can buy it through ACE then youwill have better luck.

It's theme is lime green and it is called: Super skinny daily shampoo and conditioner. This is what they look like:

and before you blowdry your hair i would suggest spreading in a very very small amount,[ maybe about that size of a ladybug(much smaller than a dime) i'm not sure if lady bugs are in florida? but you can google the size. ] of Paul Mitchell super skinny serum. again it is lime green and here is a picture of it. That size will probally run you about $16.95. unless you go through somewhere where you can find a deal.

o you can try Paul Mitchell smoothing style straight works. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31... to put in before you blow dry, but i find that that one makes my hair much more greasy and tends to make me break out.

for actual straighteners i can't help you becuas ei never straighten my hair! i wish i could and good luck!

  9. Jus shave it off... Thats wut i did

  10. hey! I live in TX and face the same problem unfortunately.. :(

whats funny is I asked my hairstylist the same question today. haha :)

I use the Victoria Secrets hair serum and straightening balm. I got it with the deal of 3 products for $24..and it works like magic! try to find a VS near you and go get em!

    To apply:

-I put the straightening balm on wet, damp hair.

    -Blow dry it.

-Then use just a tiny dime size amount of the serum where I know my hair always frizz's and goes curly (my ends).

-After that, you can flat iron your hair.. and use just a light mist of hairspray where you feel your hair get curly.

IT WORKS LIKE GOD. hope it helps! :]
