Well, lately I've been working on my handstands. It was going fine at first, but then as soon as I would go down the front of my head would hurt HORRIBLEY. I don't think it's just a rush of blood, it lasts for at least the next 40 minutes. Does anyone know why this is happening and if it will go away?

  1. its because all the blood rushs to your head...not a good idea -)

  2. Only if you stay on your feet, your head's for thinking if god wanted us to stand on it he would have put toes where our ears are located lol

  3. The orientation of your body when you do a handstand isn't anatomically correct. We are meant to be upright. It upsets the balance when you are upside down. If you hold your arm in the air for a while the blood runs out and it gets tingly, right? Well if you hold your body upside down the blood will also run out...towards your head. When the arteries in your head become gorged with blood the brain has less room. That is why you have a horrible headache. The skull can't expand to accommodate.

  4. It would go away if you would be intelligent enough to quit.
