Is it the detergent I'm using, or...?

The shirts I've already subjected to this probably have no hope, but I found this shirt I really want that only comes in green, and I'm afraid to buy it 'cause I don't want it to turn yellow.

  1. For the first few washes it has to be washed alone so the colour doesn't bleed or fade or mix with other colours in the wash. Use colour safe detergent, i think Clorox has a type liks that, and it stops the colour from bleeding.

  2. When you first get them you should wash in cold water and a cup of vinegar. Vinegar will keep colors looking new. After that you can wash as normal.

For collars if you rub on sunlight hand soap it will remove any ring around the collar.
