Whenever i download a music sheet, it goes to miscrosoft office format, and all comes out is gibberish.?

i have tried downloading these piano sheets, but whenever i try to download them, it comes out in Microsoft office format, and when i open it, all these gibberish stuff come out, instead of the tabs and everything like that.

I have downloadded Adobe Reader, so what is wrong??

how can i change it so it reads from Adboe reader instead of Microsoft office, there is no pop up when i download the piano sheets..

also, anyone have piano sheets+lyrics websites that are in english??

If it is in pdf format, and it's opening in Office - right click the file and go to Open With... and then select Adobe Acrobat Reader.

The music sheets should have extension .PDF

If every time you open the file, it shows up in a MS Office application, you need to change the application with which the PDF files should be opened.

  Right click on a PDF file (any file), choose Properties

  You should see  Open with [Some program name] [Change]

  Click on the button Change, and choose Adobe Reader from the list. (If you don't have Adobe Reader, you may not have installed it.)

  Now, you should be able to open the file in Adobe Reader.
