Whenever i start my prius, i immediately switch to drive gear and gas it hard, is this bad for my car?

Whenever i start my prius, i immediately switch to drive gear and gas it hard, is this bad for my car? I also turn off/start my car alot (making deliveries) is this bad for my car?

Starting and gassing it isn't that big a deal. On off is only bad for the starter. It's my understanding that Prius' don't have the engine on when you stop. If that's the case, besides the fear of theft, I can't see a reason why I'd turn it on and off. I'd put it in park and make my delivery, as long as I'm in a reasonably safe area.
