Whenever i try to burn movies off to play on my dvd player it never works?

Don't forget if you burn a movie on a stand alone DVD recorder you have to finalize it. That is the most common cause of people not being able to play their DVDs.

If you are doing it on your computer try a different burning program.

You might also try a different media. If you are using -R media try +R or vice versa.

More details on the process you are using would help.

Do you mean a downloaded movie or making a copy from another DVD or VCR cassette?

I am not sure about downloaded movies but DVD and VCR cassettes have a locking device that prevents copies.

One method I have found requires the use of Dazzle and its program. By running the movie through Dazzle you fool the locking device and can record the movie onto DVD.
