Whens is the soonest age?

ok I'm only 14 now and would really like to get a sport bike in a couple of years i just want to know when the soonest age to get one and drive it is.. i know driving is in 2 years. btw if it helps i live in ohio.

Hello young Ohioan! A motorcycle is considered a motor vehicle, just like a car, so all licensing, permit and testing procedures are the same as are age requirements. (No, I know the tests aren't the same). When you are 16 you go take the permit test, when you pass that you are allowed to drive your motorcycle (or car) without passengers and only during the daytime. When you are proficient you then go take the driving part of the test and when you pass, you are a licenced driver. I strongly recommend that you take the MSF riders' training class... it will prepare you well for a lifetime of riding, AND, when you complete that course, you automatically have your license! Cool, huh? Oh, and wear your helmet!!!!
