When would be the best time to buy airline tickets? When are they the cheapest. I heard somewhere 2 weeks in advance

You should buy your tickets at least 2 weeks in advance. Right now with the airlines cutting capacity so they can fill up their airplanes, the sooner you know about when you will fly, the better off you will be to book the ticket since you do not want to find out the flight is sold out.

yes, the sooner you buy your tickets the cheaper they are.

Its best MONTHS in advance..They are a lot cheaper then. Not around Christmas, Thanksgiving, Memorial day and the 4th of July...Tickets are a lot more expensive then.
