Whens the best time to start breeding axolotls?

see here the deal 6 months ago i got my first axolotl and i was wondering is he sexually maturer

It's possible for him to be sexually mature at this age, but unlikely. Feed him lots of nutritiuous food (earthworms are best) and it should make it happen sooner.
