Whens the best time to travel to cancun as 2 early 20's girls?and the best places to stay(middle range price)?

Is cancun the right resort for us?? we like dining out and staying out till late dancing the night away; however in the day we like to visit places and do some site seeing.

Definitely yes, Cancun is the place for you.  There are plenty of clubs that stay open all night, restaurants are OK, but the scenery is spectacular.

I would suggest to stay in Playa del Carmen.  You have places close by to visit (Cenotes, Tulum, Xcaret, etc) plus a good street for shopping and restaurants, many mid-range places to stay and good partying places.

You can even take a cheap, first class bus to Cancun and party or visit the Isla shopping mall and the beaches.  If you go to Cancun you can try go to Coco Bongo.

If you go in October you will find good deals, cause it is slow season.  By end November starts the high season.  Even in slow season the area is fairly busy and fun.

The sea and sand are just gorgeous.
