NOT TO WORRY:   Los Angeles is no different than any other part of the country...They get seasonal kind of weather each year with an occasional surprise but nothing to be alarmed about.........

LA is much more likely to get a big storm before they get a big earthquake. Storms hit California every winter, while a big earthquake happens a few times per century.

I'm assuming you mean quakes with significant property damage, because small ones (2.0 or less) happen every day.

We are already in the next big thing.  We have a major drought condition right now.  While is seems pretty boring weather wise it has a greater fiscal impact than a major storm.
