Wher do all the birds go when there is very voilent storm's?

Those that can will fly away from the storm and return later  while those that are not able or haven't the ability for long flight will find heavy brush or other nooks and ride it out. If you go outside during the eye of a storm you will see some birds who take advantage of the lull to seek out worms and such then they take cover during the remainder of the storm.
