Where, when and by whome were fossil remains of stegosaurus found?

Stegosaurus was discovered by Othniel C. Marsh in 1877, during the infamous Bone Wars between he and his opponent Edward D. Cope. The bones were found north of Morrison, Colorado, and became the holotype for Stegosaurus armatus.
